Atmos Avionics

Modern avionics tools built for experimental aircraft.

Our first product, Draco, is a compact engine data system designed to bring modern insight to experimental aircraft.

Meet Draco

Draco is an engine data system designed for experimental aircraft owners who want clear, real-time insight into how their engine is performing.

Built from the ground up with flexibility in mind, Draco focuses on delivering essential engine data in a clean, modern way.

  • Designed for experimental aircraft

  • Does not require a dedicated cockpit display and instead sends engine data to compatible tablets/EFBs

  • Modular sensor support

  • Fully designed and built by two avionics professionals with more than 35 years combined experience in military and civilian aviation

  • Supports standard 4 and 6-cylinder engines as well as up to 9-cylinder radial engines with one unit

  • Local data logging all stored in an easily accessible microSD card in a CSV format so you have access to your data when you want it and can do anything you want with it in any spread sheet program. Its your aircraft and your data, not ours.

What is Draco compatible with?

What can Draco Monitor?

Currently by our product launch date of December 1st, Draco will be able to display engine data to iFly’s EFBs and Levil Aviation’s app via any of the iLevils with more compatibility options well in the works!

What can Draco monitor? We think the better question is, “what doesn’t it monitor?”

  • Per-cylinder EGT/CHT up to 9 cylinders (Radial support currently only displayed by iFly EFBs)

  • Auxiliary Temps:

    • Oil Temperature

    • Coolant Temperature

    • Carburetor Temperature

    • Turbine Inlet Temperature

    • Outside Air Temperature

  • Pressures:

    • Oil Pressure

    • Manifold Pressure

    • Fuel Pressure

  • Fuel:

    • Support for 4 separate fuel tanks worth of quantity

    • Fuel flow and return fuel flow if your engine has it

    • Fuel total, time remaining based on fuel flow, pressure, and total

  • Voltage

  • Amps

  • Hours

Other features are yet to be revealed, but we are trying to solve a problem for both maintainers and pilots everywhere.
